Kredivo Buy Now Pay Later is the market leader for Indonesia and we are now expanding our presence in the Philippines. As we build out our team here, we are looking to hire a phenomenal "hunter" Business Development Manager. You will be joining us in the Kredivo Philippines journey right at the beginning and will be an instrumental part of the team that setups up the entire business development operations, merchant relationships i.e the distribution part of our business. Job Description:
- End to end responsibility for closing merchant deals including merchant outreach, presentations, commercial negotiations, contracts
- Pipeline development for merchant acquisition in The Philippines for Kredivo's buy-now-pay-later solution
- Ensure deep understanding of the Kredivo product offering in order to deliver effective merchant pitches and handle first level queries
- Monitoring overall merchant performance, identify & flag any potential issues/opportunities
- Regularly coordinate with the internal teams (marketing, product etc.) in order to ensure merchants go live smoothly, and Kredivo visibility is maintained
Requirements:
- Proven business development/sales/partnerships expertise with at least 4-5 years of relevant experience
- Deep understanding of the Philippine Fintech, eCommerce & retail landscapes
- Must have prior experience working within Fintech Industry with strong existing relationships with major mobile and electronics retail chains across The Philippines
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written), good at negotiations and hyper focused on closing deals
- Fast learner, detail-oriented, and very good with consistent follow-ups
